Turkish armored vehicle "Yörük" aspires to become 'samurai'

Yörük 4x4 , one of the armored vehicles developed by the Turkish defense industry , recently appeared at the first large-scale integrated defense event in Japan at the DSEI Japan Fair .

The DSEI Japan Fair, held at Makuhari Messe, will host high-level guests from more than 50 countries and more than 250 exhibitors from around the world for 3 days. For the fair, leading global players of the defense industry headed for Japan.

The exhibition aims to interact with the Japanese industry and the global defense industry and to offer new business opportunities to the global defense industry in Japan. Japan is also an important gateway to the Asia-Pacific market.

Japan's defense budget has reached a record $ 46 billion and is expected to increase defense capabilities significantly. The fair offers a wide range of meeting facilities for manufacturers seeking the market in the Asia-Pacific region.

Turkey's Nurol Machinery armored land vehicle manufacturers in thousands of kilometers away in the fair joined the nomad 4x4 light armored vehicle. Yörük 4x4, the first Turkish battleship to be exhibited in Japan, reached the country with a 3-week cruise. The vehicle was exhibited at the fair together with Sarp-Zafer, a new member of ASELSAN's Remote Control Weapon System product family. Nurol Makina was among the limited number of manufacturers exhibiting armored vehicles at the fair.

Export success

Nurol Machinery, Ejder Yalcin and Yörük armored vehicles such as exports to a number of countries had the success. Yörük 4x4 and Sarp-Zafer, preferred by Qatar in this context, thus achieved the first export success together.

Simultaneously with Japan, the company participates in the Thailand Defense and Security Exhibition in Bangkok, one of the leading defense industry events in the Asia-Pacific region.

Nomad is shaped according to need

Yörük is ahead of its competitors with its additive armor and mobility capabilities. Yörük has Level-1 ballistic protection without any armor plate and can be increased up to Level 4 by adding different armor plates.

With its low silhouette, short turning radius and high speed, Yörük can also be integrated in different weapon systems as needed and makes a difference in reconnaissance and surveillance missions and residential operations. With a low center of gravity and a superior roadholding to the user, the top speed of 140 km / h is in the top segment of its class.
