Tests of ASELSAN's VOLKAN-M Fire Control System were carried out with the M60TM tank.

İsmail Demir, President of the Presidency Defense Industry, in his post on his Twitter account, stated that they ensured the modernization of the M60TM tanks in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces and the nationalization of all their components.

Stating that while reducing foreign dependency in this regard, they equip the tanks with high-performance up-to-date systems and extend their life cycle, Demir said:

"In this context, we have started the mobile tank firing tests of the VOLKAN-M Fire Control System developed by ASELSAN. The shooting from the moving tank to the stationary targets was successfully carried out. We aim to qualify our new tank fire control system by the end of the year."
