TÜBİTAK will share the excitement of the festival at TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan

TÜBİTAK will take its place at the festival, which will be held outside Turkey for the first time this year, with various workshops and events.

TÜBİTAK will exhibit the technologies it has developed by participating in TEKNOFEST to be held in Azerbaijan with its various institutes and centers, and will carry the festival enthusiasm beyond the borders of the country with the workshops it will organize.

According to the information obtained by the AA correspondent, TÜBİTAK will also be a partner in the enthusiasm to be experienced in the sister country with TEKNOFEST to be held in Azerbaijan on May 26-29.

With TEKNOFEST, TÜBİTAK will closely witness the young people's touch on science and their commitment to find solutions to the challenges of the future, and will share their excitement by encouraging them on this path. The institution will also appear in Azerbaijan with many important products and technologies. 100 kinds of books from different age groups from TÜBİTAK Popular Science Books will be sold and promoted. In addition, Bilim ve Teknik, Bilim Çocuk and Meraklı Minik magazines from Popular Science Publications will be presented to readers.

TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) will add color to TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan with interesting activities in the field of life sciences. Events will be held where various materials will be shown under the microscope.

The "Polar Creatures Matching Game" will be played, which aims to introduce the polar creatures to children with the matching and memory game method. Events will also be held to raise awareness on climate change and sustainability.

Virtual reality experience will be provided

TÜBİTAK Defense Industry Research and Development Institute (SAGE) will also be a stakeholder in TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan.

In addition to the exhibition of ammunition systems developed by Turkish engineers locally and nationally, technology workshops for children and youth will also be held.

KUZGUN, the modular guided ammunition family, will meet with its enthusiasts at SAGE's booth. It will also appeal to science lovers with its Rocket Model Workshop and VR Virtual Reality Experience events.

Developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE, one of the first national air missiles of Turkey, Bozdoğan, hit the target with great success from the F-16 fighter jet, where the VR Virtual Reality Experience will be shown with virtual reality glasses and a 360-degree view taken from the cockpit and flying side by side with the fighter pilot and successful experience of watching a test shot will be provided.

Space enthusiasts will be informed

TÜBİTAK National Observatory will organize an observation event with a solar telescope. Spots on the Sun and explosions can be observed with a special filter telescope. Visitors will also be able to consult expert astronomers on topics they are curious about.

TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute will take its place at TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan with GÖKTÜRK-2, TÜRKSAT-6A and İMECE satellite models to inform its enthusiasts. TÜRKSAT-6A satellite model making activity will be held for children.

Also, within the scope of the festival, the Pilotless Flight Apparatus Competition, which will be held for the first time under the leadership of TÜBİTAK and Azercosmos, will be held at Hacıkabul Airport today. The first prize will be awarded $4,000, the second $2,000, and the third $1,000.
