The Turkish defense industry will be implemented until 2023 and the actions to be implemented within this scope will be increased by the domesticity rate, new technologies will be offered to the use of security forces, competencies and export opportunities in the sector will be increased.
The Presidential Defense Industry Presidency Strategic Plan for the Presidency of Defense Industry 2019-2023 was prepared in order to enable the Turkish defense industry to provide services by focusing on high efficiency around a common vision and to mobilize its facilities and capabilities around the same goal.
In line with the plan, it is aimed to make maximum use of domestic opportunities and national technologies in order to meet the needs in the operations areas and to ensure their continuous development. In order to ensure the continuity of development, financial and human resources will be evaluated in the most effective manner. International collaborations will be deepened to increase sustainability as well as sectoral competencies.
According to the plan, Turkish Defense Industry Strategy will be prepared which will include holistic policies and strategies in order to meet the needs of defense and security user in a safe, stable and maximum extent with the capabilities and capabilities of Turkish defense industry in 5 years.
