NATO begins world's largest live cyber exercise

NATO begins the world's largest and most complex live international cyber exercise tomorrow.

The annual " Locked Shields" exercise will be organized by the NATO Collaborative Cyber ​​Defense Center of Excellence in Tallinn, Estonia, on April 19-22.

Cyber ​​security and IT experts from NATO allies and NATO partner countries will participate in the exercise. Ukrainian experts will also take part in this year's exercise.

In the exercise, defense methods against advanced real-time cyber attacks on critical infrastructures with civil and military information systems will be tested. In addition, it will be tried how to implement cooperation with civil and military units, public and private sector in case of possible attacks.

According to the exercise scenario, it will be decided what to do in geopolitical situations, taking into account the current security environment against cyber attacks on the military and civil information systems of a fictitious country called Berylia.

In addition to NATO, companies and institutions such as Siemens, Siemens, TalTech, Clarified Security, Arctic Security and CR14 will take part in the exercise, in which government institutions, universities, international organizations and companies will cooperate.
