Tezmaksan Innovation and Advanced Technology Technical Solutions Engineer Muhammet Bozkır said that there was a significant potential in respect of robotic automation systems in Turkey and that the producers who had seen it were making significant preparations.
Bozkır, stating that they expect the robot usage rate in industry in Turkey will double soon, said that they were making preparations relating to the need of robotic automation and Industry 4.0 by taking those developments into account. Bozkır said:

We are currently working on big data and artificial intelligence. We started to receive data from the machines relating to it, we have proceeded to the learning stage with this data. This is a process. We will develop software that can correct and manage itself in advance when there will be a problem with the machines that can make decisions with artificial intelligence. We are working on software that enables machines to make decisions. Our administration has made decisions regarding how to do it and how the human resources planning will be. We will put them into practice respectively. Tezmaksan's aim is to become a technology and software company within the country which has also globalized. We are a well-established company from the machinery sector. We have been in the machinery sector for 40 years. We aim to combine technology with software in machines with this knowledge and to become one of the leading companies in this field."

Bozkır stated that with the software to be built on technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, mechanisms that can make decisions from the beginning of the production to the end of it and that will make the process efficient and cost effective will be made.
Bozkır, explaining that sub-systems ans parts forming machines have a certain life span and should be controlled continuously, said: "When these are broken, you can cause huge damage to the machine. We will have control systems to understand the relevant atrophying and abrasion and to prevent breaking of the gang. When cutting the part, we will develop systems that make cutting according to the best conditions. We have started to collect data about this, too. First, we will prepare what we call the big data, then move on to the artificial intelligence section and create the decision mechanism. "
