The event organized by HAVELSAN on the Kurtalan Express route started on the HAVELSAN Express train departing from Ankara yesterday . The train, which set off with approximately 105 people, made its first stop in Malatya at noon.
The train is here, Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selahattin Gürkan, İnönü University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kızılay and the Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Çetin Şişman welcomed the delegation.
After the lunch, a conference was held at İnönü University to introduce HAVELSAN's human resources process and the company's activities.
Inonu University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kızılay said that at the event held at the Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Conference Hall, many names from HAVELSAN's top management to the think tank were among them.
TCDD Deputy General Manager Şinasi Kazancıoğlu also said that HAVELSAN is one of Turkey's distinguished establishments.
Expressing that science was born out of necessity, Kazancıoğlu noted that students are the country's biggest capital.

HAVELSAN Board Member Yüksel Aksöz also drew attention to the fact that such a project was carried out for the first time on the train.
Expressing that the future passes through digitalization, Aksöz asked the students to prepare themselves for the future.
R&D and Engineering Director Serkan Gümrükçü talked about the other companies that the company is a partner of and the work done.
Indicating that HAVELSAN realizes smart and integrated solutions, Gümrükçü noted that it exports to more than 20 countries.
In her speech on open source technologies, software engineer Duygu Ölmez asked students to participate in various events and competitions.
Zeynep Kaygusuz, senior expert of the company's employee experience and employer brand, also talked about the defense industry and the environment in the company.
After the train departed from Ankara, the hackathon event, which started in 3 categories with questions distributed to 27 teams, will continue after the lunch break in Malatya.
