The Anka platform, which has been developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries INC (TAI), successfully served the security forces in missions such as anti-terrorism and sea-level exploration observing.
Anka, which has been facilitated with capabilities in line with the needs and demands of the security forces, has been equipped with new useful loads. Nearly 20 Anka have managed to reach around 17,000 flight hours.
In addition, the inventory of security forces is being strengthened by new vehicles. Anka-S has entered for the first time into the inventory of the Gendarmerie General Command which previously used the Anka-B vehicles.
The first package of satellite-controlled Anka-S system, the production of which was completed under the contract signed between the Defense Industry Presidency and TAI in October 2018, was delivered to Elazığ Gendarmerie UAV Union Command after the successful completion of the acceptance and inspection tests performed on 5-11 April.

Anka-S features equipments such as national cryptographic communication system, full HD resolution day and night camera, low-light camera, laser marker and scout surveillance system consisting of laser rangefinder systems.
