Exercise Director Rear Admiral Payal said in his speech at the meeting that DENİZKURDU-2021 Exercise, one of the planned exercises of the Naval Forces, will be held between 25 May and 6 June in the Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Yalçın Payal, upon asking whether members of the press will be admitted to the ships during the exercise, said, "We are going through a pandemic process. Payal, who visited the Exercise Control Center after the press conference, told reporters that the exercise to be performed according to the generic scenario will be controlled from the Exercise Control Center.
