According to the information received, acceptance test activities of the Battery Command and Control Operations Centers (BKKHM) developed for the Air Force Command within the scope of the 35 millimeter Air Defense System Modernization and Particle Ammunition Supply Project signed between the Presidency of Defense Industries and ASELSAN in 2017 were carried out at the Main Jet Base Commands.
BKKHM is the first air defense command control system developed to perform the air defense command control activities of fixed facilities and critical elements, operating in accordance with NATO standards, and delivered by ASELSAN to the Air Forces Command.
ASELSAN completed the deliveries to the Anti-Aircraft Operations Centers at 4 different jet bases after the BKKHM installation and testing activities. With the deliveries of BKKHM, modification activities of the Pedestal Mounted Stinger (KMS) Harpoon Weapon Systems, which are in the inventory of the Air Force Command, have also started. BKKHM has the infrastructure to work in integration with the HİSAR-O air defense system.
BKKHM; It serves as an air defense command control element that meets the air defense command control needs of air bases, can dispatch and manage Fire Management Devices and KMS Harpoon weapon systems from a single source, and can communicate data over the Tactical Data Link with the upper command control elements. Thanks to these centers, unique decision support algorithms such as the threat assessment and weapon allocation algorithm, automatic diagnosis algorithm, effective radar weapon placement planning algorithm developed for the Air Force Command will effectively fulfill the situational awareness and decision support function.
BKKHM will be able to operate autonomously and manage the air defense operations of the weapon systems attached to it, if it is not connected to the upper command and control element.
With the acceptance of the Battery Command and Control Operations Centers, the first air defense command and control system of ASELSAN was entered into the inventory of the Air Forces Command.
